Our Program

about our camp.png

Camp Kind is a unique day camp experience that imbues children with a love for helping others and an appreciation for the environment. Our day camp consists of two groups, Camp Explorers (7-10) and Kind Pioneers (11-13). Each group will have two staff members and a maximum of 20 kids per group.

Camp Kind accomplishes this by partnering with local charity and non-profits who provide our campers with fun, hands-on volunteer experiences and learning opportunities.

In addition Camp Kind offers traditional fun camp activities of trips, sports, crafts and drama.

Registering your child at Camp Kind, will help make a lasting impression on them that will pave the way for greater community engagement and environmental responsibility as they mature into adults.

Camp Kind runs four weekly sessions from June 25th through July 21st and is located at the Silver Hills Middle school at 12400 Huron St in Westminster.

Camp Kind is a project of Chabad of NW Metro Denver and is directed by Benjy Brackman who brings 13 years of experience in running day camps to NW Metro Denver.

Each day at Camp Kind has a unique theme, providing an exciting learning experience explored through field trips and fun hands-on learning activities.

Kindness Workshops

Kids Connect - Helping Colorado's Refugee Community

Camp Kind is partnering with local refugee agencies refugee.jpgto bring awareness, offer assistance and interaction with our local refugee population. This unique opportunity will bring to life the unique circumstances of refugees living right here in Metro Denver, to our campers.

Campers will be presented with a variety of social causes. Upon choosing one or two causes that they are passionate about, campers will be tasked with finding solutions and improvements in these areas. This will followed by the campers crafting a letters to send to local, state and federal politicians asking them to help out these causes and implement their suggestions.

Charity for Kids
06_Charity_IPC (1).jpgCampers will do research into a various local charities. The research will be assisted by live Skype sessions with the charities. At the end of the week, campers will take a vote and make a donation to the charity that wins the most votes.
